Jammu & Kashmir: Two Al-Badr militant associates arrested in Awantipora, 06 lac meant for militant funding recovered from them

Kashmir: Police on tuesday arrested two militant associates of outfit Al- Badr in South Kashmir’s Awantipora.

In a statement to media, the police said that acting on a specific information, Awantipora Police and Security Forces today morning during arrested 02 militant associates at Ladhoo Crossing when they were travelling on Scooty from Shopian to Khrew.

They have been identified as Rayees-ul-Hassan resident of Gadikhal Awantipora and Mushtaq Ahmad Mir resident of Dadsara Awantipora.

Incriminating material of proscribed outfit Al-Bader have been recovered from their possession including Rs 06 Lakh ( Six Lakh Only) meant for militant funding of Al-Bader outfit.

The Scooty bearing registration number JK01AC- 4035 used for the commission of crime has also been seized.
