Chandigarh: LIVE Joint press conference being addressed by Shiromani Akali Dal President S Sukhbir Singh Badal and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Secretary General Satish Chandra Mishra at Akali Dal head office in Chandigarh. Shiromani Akali Dal announced its alliance with Bahujan Samaj Party to contest Assembly elections in Punjab next year wherein Bahujan Samaj Party, which has a considerable influence over the 31% Dalit votes in the state, will contest 20 out of 117 seats while the remaining 97 seats will be contested by Shiromani Akali Dal.
Shiromani Akali Dal President S Sukhbir Singh Badal said that an arrogant king and plunderer Congress destroyed Punjab, We together with sister Mayawati, will throw this government out.
