Jammu & Kashmir: Sopore woman hospitalized after setting herself ablaze, Police registered case

Sopore, 01 Oct : A 32-year-old married woman sustained severe burns after she commits suicide by setting herself on fire in North Kashmir’s Sopore town today morning.

As per reports, a 32-year-old woman, a resident of Sidiq colony, Sopore today morning allegedly set herself on fire after pouring kerosene oil over her body at her home.

However, she was immediately rushed to sub district hospital Sopore where doctors reffered her to Srinagar medical institute for advanced treatment. It is still unknown that why the woman took such an extreme step.

A case in this regard has been registered by police and further investigation is going on.
